Air Peace airline was founded in 2013 by Allen Onyema, a Lawyer and businessman. Onyema declared that he founded the airline with the intention of using it as a means to provide economic opportunity to Nigerian youth. The airline began flights on Dornier 328 and Boeing 737 aircraft.

Air Peace airline is a private, full-service airline based at Lagos Murtala Mohammed Airport, Nigeria. The carrier provides regular / charter and specialized cargo transportation. Air Peace airline operates a mixed fleet of wide-body, narrow-body and turboprop aircraft. Over the past few years, since its founding in 2013, the airline has expanded its fleet with additional aircraft, including the Boeing 777-200, with which it plans to expand its network to other international destinations.
Air Peace airline offers both scheduled passenger and charter services. From its hub at Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos (LOS), Air Peace operates mainly domestic flights within Nigeria, but also offers a small number of international flights to other parts of Africa. Popular domestic routes include Lagos to Kano, Lagos to Benin City, and Lagos to Abuja. While many of its international destinations remain within its long-term route network.
Air Peace has a long-term goal of expanding its route network to more destinations in Nigeria as well as major cities around the world. The airline said that along with improving Nigeria’s worldwide connectivity, one of the main ideas behind the emergence of Air Peace is to create more jobs for people in Nigeria. Please note that some shorter regional flights are operated by a subsidiary of Air Peace Hopper, which was established in 2018.

Online check-in can be done by visiting the Air Peace online check-in page and clicking the “Online check-in” tab. From there, passengers must enter their last name and booking number in order to check in online for an Air Peace flight. Online check-in is available from 48 hours to two hours before the scheduled flight departure.
